Mountain Biking Oro Valley/Northwest Tucson

Oro Valley, Arizona is the best road and mountain biking destination in our state.

For beginners to experienced mountain bikers, those who are visiting Tucson should start their mountain and road biking vacation in Oro Valley. Oro Valley offers some of the best mountain bike trails – all within a confined vicinity. Tucson has a world class reputation as both a cycling and moutain biking destination. However, it is Oro Valley that has the best, cleanest, widest, safest roads and the best variety of great mountain biking.

Wherever you are in Oro Valley, you will feel like you can almost reach out and touch the Catalinas. There are plenty of hotel options as well as VRBO and Airbnb places in Oro Valley. Oro Valley is without question the most desired road and mountain biking location in all of Arizona.

Want the ultimate enduro/scenic mountain bike ride? Honeybee Canyon/Rail X is your choice. Great scenery with more technical challenge? Then head to Golder Ranch or Tortolita Preserve/Dove Mountain.

And let’s not forget the 24 Hours In The Old Pueblo, also known as Willow Springs. This is the course for Epic Ride’s Kona Bike’s 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. And get this: they have a trail called “The Bitches”, which tells you all you need to know about the climb you will have! However, they do a a Bitches bypass for those who can’t cope. Stay and mountain bike in Oro Valley and you are still less than 30 minutes to Sweetwater Preserve Trails. Way cool.
