Green Valley’s version of the popular Tucson Fantasy Island, The West Desert Trails are located on a 2000 acre area to the west of Green Valley.

Pros from all over the world come to road bike Madera Canyon. Starting at the La Posada Java coffee shop, Madera Canyon is a 12 mile climb, featuring a final 2.5 mile climb that will give you 12 and 14 percent grades. Madera is a climbers darling, featuring wide, safe roads with little traffic.

One of the greatest half and full century rides in Arizona is the Amado to Arivaca to Sasabe ride. A weekend ride only, road bike 23 miles to a great roastery, then head another 46 miles to the border of Sasabe. This is one of Arizona’s best climbing rides.
